Dhoni Cocktail Cruise

Last Saturday Night was really awesome! My friend Tintin and I joined this special event/excursion while we were booked for a night's stay in Chaaya Island Dhonveli. Would you believe for the said event we spent US$ 30 only (15usd per person), and this amount includes cruising nearby the resort by a dhoni (from 21:30-23:30hrs), a singer that serenades all of us while cruising (there were 24 of us mostly British - the two of us were the only Asian in the group), unlimited beers, cocktails, & wines plus there's more ...canape's & finger foods!

I thought I was just dreaming but it was really that cheap! We took advantage of the "Eat all you can, Drink all you can Event" LOL! I got drunk of course, what do you expect?! haha' (coz when we came back to the resort, we went straight to the Bar where a live band was playing and syempre inom ulet) but having said that we were able to find out cottage still (so maybe I should say mildly drunk lang, lol!) Wish other resorts offer the same event. But I hope di naman sila lugi (paano nalang pag buong tropa ko kasama ubos alak nila)? LOL!

Early Christmas Gift

I bought myself a Christmas present in advance. I was actually accompanying a friend for a 'shopping spree' when I saw this necklace on sale (napagastos ako!) I immediately purchased it (I can only afford when items are on sale kase, lol!) This necklace was a part of my wish lists last year for Christmas, araAaay! wishes come true after a year. Well, at least my wish came true diveh?! :P

Ead's Place

If I would have to choose among my friends apartment here (unlike me they have nice lodging, hehe), I would pick Ead's place. He lives alone but he doesn't stay there often (he frequent Ton's place - a 3 bedroom apartment where Ton lives alone din). His place is located in Vilingili but I don't mind taking a dhoni everyday if this will be my accommodation here, hmmmm....I think so, hehe'

I am sooO back

These few things made me busy for the last months and so the disappearance on this account.

1) I was really hooked with Twittter but when I went home for a holiday (asar! that was just for 15 days) something went wrong to my fave Twitter application - TWEETDECK (the most organized and easiest way to use or experience Twitter). I don't know what happened and it won't load tweets anymore. You see, only FB Live News Feed loads. So this made me stop from logging on at Twitter. Ooops, I still do sometimes (using the main twitter site). Hehehe'

2) FACEBOOK - Who is not familiar with FB? Anyone? Hehe! Honestly, I was thinking maybe if FB is generous enough to give an award for a user who is present all the time in the site and who has the most number of comments there daily, I would get the award, lol! FB is really interactive and I got gaga on this na. I am not active as before on making comments, shout outs and etc but I need to visit FB everyday because of the games that are difficult to resist.

A) Mafia Wars - I wasn't really interested to join but a friend has requested to just accept the invitation (without having it played daw) so he would have an additional member to his Mafia list but after that acceptance, the rest is history na. Now I am looking forward to gain more experience and beat all friends who will try to betray me & to have more properties (I already have my casino, 5 star hotel, beach front properties, millions of US Dollars in my bank account, few businesses in Cuba and Moscow) Wehehe'. If only possible to withdraw all the money that I have in the bank?! Sarap isipin! so much more of this crap talking!....lol!

B) and my "not so abandoned" Restaurant City. This was the first game I tried on FB and was challenged to beat a friend's income and rank. However, there was this other friend who came to our house and I excitedly informed him of this interesting game. It wasn't difficult to convince him to join. What a mistake! He has exceeded my rank now and left me with a dust (he was too fast to level up, grrrrr!) To make the story short, There's two of them now to beat and to be honest, I don't know how...unless they'd let their employees sleep for 02 months, nyahaha!

3) LOOKLET - A cousin was once an addict to this website where you have to dress up a model. Very nice site! At first, I was just browsing for "looks" but later on...I found myself having three accounts which the other two can't be accessed/opened. I forgot the passwords eh! Hehehe' I frequent the site even when I couldn't make an impressive design, sigh*. It's really fun there! Some of the looks/designs I made. Hehehe'

New Abode

I have been thinking about this for a long time and finally a decision was made.

Yep, I am moving out to a new place...SOON! It’s really sad to leave the apartment which I am currently living…Reasons?

1) In this period of time, it is very difficult to find landlords /owners who are like your family (Who would always check how you’ve been, gives you food, very lenient when it comes to payment terms and etc)

2) The place is so memorable to me at least…(This is where I did something outrageous. Not that thing you’re thinking of OK? Mind you, slight lang, lol’ and this is where I mastered to say NO, whatever it is bahala na kayong mag isip, lol!)

3) The area of the place is very safe and is at the heart of the city (It’s just at the back of the National Security Office here and mostly of the main attractions are just nearby, the Islamic Centre, National Museum, Sultan Park & etc)

4) Most importantly because I was sharing the apartment with Sheila (she has been my housemate way back Veligaa days – when I say that it would mean for almost 03 years now).

However, sometimes there are things that would come your way that you didn’t see it coming ...happens in a way that you don't like it to be ..and as much as you would love to make things stay the same, it really won’t. It would be sadder if I won’t leave the place. All I know is I just can’t stay any longer eating alone, having no one to talk to when reached home, there is just silence and it deepens...the only thing to get rid all of these is ...to get hooked with the net all the time (and this ....seems life has become more boring!)

I look forward to joining Ate Marivic, Marvin and Awe. Seems like fun to be with young lads and a matured sexy Ate, hehehe. There was never a dull moment whenever I visit them so it feels like it too when living in with them. I just hope so.

As to Basheshe (I fondly call Sheila that way), well... I will surely miss her but we will of course be seeing in Male still, and will be together for our gym sessions (not to mention how easy it is to contact each other be it be on FB, via email, by phone messages or calls).

Keep Fit

I can't believe I have overcome laziness and now I am back to blogging, lol!

To start with my comeback (ala movie ititch), I will be talking about the recent activity that's keeping me busy. All the other things that should have been blogged earlier will be posted later (hehe).

OK. I have registered myself for a gym at Hulhule Airport Hotel. Hmmm....not that I am obsessed with losing weight anymore but I am on the highest hope that I can still do something to get rid of my cellulites, to flatten a bit of my tummy, and to have toned muscles, arrrgh! Guess, this is way too much difficult than losing weight (nyahahaha). Who knows this time will work? Seriously, I am not losing hope, bwehehe'

I am on my second week already and so far so good. Sheila and I are very much encouraged by a friend named Kin who is religiously working out daily (well, we only do it every Wed, Fri & Sun only OK?). I planned to make it 04 days a week next time but having said that it is subject to my health condition (this would only mean a condition associated with laziness, ngek' hehe) and weather condition (as I need to cross the sea everytime I go to the gym). Well, I have to make use of US$ 120 (discounted prize for 02 months registration). I just don't wanna end up quitting without getting the result that I need. Iampo ako nijo, Amen.

The French Handbag

One of our repeater clients is coming back on the 06^th August, which is next month (for her 03 week holiday here). As usual, I got a mail from her again asking for an item from Europe that I want her to bring for me. She does that all the time prior to her arrival. Isn’t she too nice?

From her previous arrivals, there was never a time she came without giving me a “pasalubong”. She brings me perfumes; souvenirs from France & I always get what I wanted (she said it would make her happy if she could give something that I really like than having something that I won’t appreciate at all - she wouldn’t take no for an answer , you can just imagine!).

Anyway, now that she’s coming again I thought I should just check for a souvenir from her country for me to have the idea as I just couldn’t think of anything (actually, there is really no need for her to do this – mapilit lang sya)! And then I came across this site where there are lot of nice products from Paris and OMG! Now, it makes me feel like “super kapal muks!” if I have to ask for this. But I really want!

But then again, I just can’t ask for this ?! I’ll have a look at this bag all the time nalang until my eyes gets weary of seeing it, LOL! I emailed her already saying I want a snow globe this time (it isn’t costly so it is not too much to ask right?) I am glad to know I am still at the right frame of mind else dyahe chi! huh' Wehehe'

Travel Survey

While holidaying at the mentioned resort earlier, one guest caught my attention. Looking at her made me realized how boring/lonesome it is to travel alone (especially at the haven of honeymooners). I could be wrong she might be an airline crew and so the exemption but if she wasn’t then I hope that she’d have a wonderful stay during her holiday.

I had my share of experiences traveling alone and those trips weren’t as great when I traveled with my favorite companions. What about you? Do you prefer to travel alone or with a companion? For me, it’s always best to travel with family & friends (especially when you have someone who arranges the itinerary & bullies you around - super har har har trip talaga), korekong Vonash & Langga?! Hehehe...

Sweet Comeback

After 02 yrs & 06 months long, I was able to visit Full Moon Maldives again (now Sheraton Full Moon Maldives). To have stayed in the island as a guest this time was just awesome! I had a wonderful stay with the company of good friends.

What made my stay fantastic was when my former colleagues (even those who are not in the same department where I worked before) greeted me with my name. Isn’t it lovely??! While I thought I am good at remembering names I realized I wasn’t (their faces were familiar, thanks God they were wearing nametags , this saved me from absolute shame). The lovely smiles, the short happy conversions, the warm welcome they showed and extended during my stay will always be remembered.

Cheerless = Amards

I have actually anticipated this, but I didn’t know that its confirmation will somehow hit me bad. Please don’t ask me why coz I don’t know how to explain this sadness further. I am not good at expressing myself (except when I am mad coz you definitely will know). It’s just a feeling and I know like other heartbreaks this will turn out fine, I will get use to it and finally wouldn't bother about it soon!

I woke up with a happy heart today and though this may seem to be a bad start of the week, I can make it through. I shouldn’t entertain some bad vibes that would distract me from making myself a “better me” this time (been trying to be calm & understanding as I could be these days). I have to think of it as another opportunity for me to learn on living on my own, alone!
